Elysian Park & Angel's Point

After leaving Olvera Street, my boyfriend decided to take me by the Dodger stadium to a somewhat hidden and high park. The view from the top is simply BEAUTIFUL! You can see the Dodger stadium, LA, Griffith observ., Hollywood Sign. We had been there before but this time the sun was just setting so it was really nice. I thought that I had left my Zoom lens at home in my camera bag because we didn't plan on going there and I was so upset because I could have gotten some really good photos with it. Well after we left we decided to go eat at Tommy's! Best chili burgers ever! And as I was looking for my purse I turn in the back seat and see my camera bag! just sitting there looking at me like I'm an idiot for not seeing it before! I was so upset with myself but hey! that gives me an excuse to go back so it worked out. I still got some pretty good shots with my 18-55mm though.

Olvera Street

So this past weekend I took a trip to Olvera Street, paid $9 for parking and I was only there for an hour. It was not what I thought it was going to be. It was actually kind of lame. DOn't get me wrong there would have been some great photography shots but the weather wasn't that great and there was a big crowd of people who had jusst finished baptizing their children. It was very colorful tho. I wanted to buy some things but I was too busy admiring everything else. Here are 2 pictures that I took while I was there.

i haven't posted anything new in awhile. I apologize i have been so busy with ten million things all at once! but i have some new picture to share! i went to olvera street, angels point by elysian park and there are nother things i'd like to get off my chest. I'll be back though. I am actually typing this from my G1.

Fat people Unite!

I think i'm getting the sniffles! =( not good! i hardly ever get sick! i need some oj on the quick status. Today in my nutrition class, my skinny ass teacher made it her duty to make us all feel super fat! and tell us how many calories were in things we eat now a days compared to how smaller the portion was 20 yrs ago! i dont even wanna eat anymore after that slieshow! she made me feel like even water has calories! i guess the US has grown it's portions of food in time but something tells me that since the economy is doing so shitty! that portions of food will be smaller for the same price so maybe that means less obesity and morew starving kids! yay! hah!

Out for a SPIN

This weekend i had the chance to try out my new Nikon and take some pictures. I ended up at a Honda car meet Friday night, a 50th anniversary party Saturday night, and Sunday watched the SUPERBOWL although i didn't take any pictures that night except when i got home and took some pictures of my grandparents playing poker in my dining room. I am so in love with this picture quality. Here are some flicks..
