Good Rittens!

I got a four day weekend for New Years, second one in a row. last week was the same thing for Christmas! It kinda sucks because I wish I could actually get a full 80 hour check buuuuttt that's not going to happen. I am soo ready for 2010 to start! I know as cliche as it sounds and how everyone else is saying the exact same thing but I really feel like 2010 is going to be good to me. I'll finally turn 21! Not that that will make much of a difference but at least I'll be of legal drinking age and won't have to carry around this fake ID.
Although alot of bad shit happened in 2009, I learned alot about myself this year, the kind of person I am and also the kind of people I surround myself with. I'll admit summer of 09 was the BEST summer I have ever had and only makes me more excited for the summers to come! I moved out on my own with a cousin that I was never close to before this year and now that we live together and are close I regret all the years that passed that we never talked unless we saw each other at family occasions. I'm deeply thankful to have her as family. My other cousin whom I was always close too is now married. She's just a couple of months younger than I am and only been with her bf a lil over 2 years which is less time than me and hector have been together but she's legally married and asked me to be the maid of honor at her wedding party. I'm so happy for her and a little sad at the same time. I'm happy that she was able to find love and find the person she wanted to spend the rest of her life with and he wasn't second guessing himself. I wish them the best of luck because they deserve it.
2009 was not good to my own family however, I got into a huge fight with my mom and we have not really spoken for about 3 months, my sister hardly talks to me and is lost in her lil boy crazy high school teenager years. I understand what she's going through tho I just don't want her to make the same mistake I made, as far as boys go. I'm proud of her though, she is doing an EXCELLENT job academically, student council, honor roll, the whole shabang! I know she will go far.
Financially it's been a really tough year, we've managed but I could only make so much money to live off of. Fortunately I landed a new job in Beverly Hills at the Assil Eye Institute (google it), it's a wonderful place and I feel very blessed to have that job, all thanks to a very good friend of mine who actually got me in, and i feel very indebted to her. It has definitely opened my mind on my future career goals as well as helped me but some bread and water on my plate.
I'll cut this little trip down memory lane here for now. So thank you 2009 for the many many tears of laughter, cries,and everything else you have given me this past year, but i'm ready to say goodbye to you and Hellllooo 2010.

New Year New Hair

So i'm way past due for a haircut and I'm gonna get one soon, but I don't want the same plain one I have always gotten. I have been letting my hair grow soooo long on purpose to give me something extra to work with. This old pic of LL is classy & I love her hair in it, I don't want to dye my hair since i never have before I don't see the point in doing it now, but I want a new dramatic kinda look that I could easily style & not style but still look good.

Good News! We finally have internet at the apt!! woohoo! this means I will be back on this thing giving you more & more useless but entertaining info on my daily whereabouts & finds. Especially since School is out now also, I would usually do it at my old job but my new job now is just too busy & restricted for me to do it there. No worries tho I have some pics to share, stories to tell and videos to upload soon!

Now that 2009 is coming to an end I have big big plans for myself in 2010, 2009 was by far the best & worst year of my entire life thus far. But we are not gonna reminise over the past. So in short, I'm back & ready to get brutal up in here so if you don't like then don't read it! ;)

So this past weekend we had a Surprise Birthday Party for a friend. I can't say I remember much from that night. Sunday was spent at RA which was not exciting at all i think this cold weather has got everyone staying home, and I don't blame'em.
