Downtown LA artwalk

Last night we (Hector, Tiffany, Patty and I) took a trip to 6th and Main in LA for the Art walk. The first place we stopped in had a lot going on, there were people selling clothes in the back an area to get a massage done for free, a little photo booth setup, a DJ, and painters painting. It was all very cool. One of the photographers assistant who has the photo booth asked us if we would be willing to take pictures and we agreed, of course, we're hoping they show up on his blog so we can get a chance to look at them I think they were pretty funny. Here are some pix, enjoy.

OH! I forgot to mention, when we left and started walking back to my car we met a guy and just happened to strike up a conversation with him, despite the fact that he thought we were 16 he was actually a really cool guy. He told us about his tatt's and about when he did time for 18 months and how it is in jail and how the system works and how everyone wants power and I remember this one phrase he said "The sun is the only motherfucker that shine's forever." I find that to be very true. He was very articulate for having a "cholo accent." I felt like we were listening to his memoirs. I wish I had gotten a picture of him. I do know where he works though.

Patty got body painted by some random painter because this guy who was trying to talk to her was trying to impress her with the "people" he knew. He then invited us all to a penthouse party later that night in the same building, we said we would go, but we didn't.

The photobooth photographer was picking out random people even on the street just to take their pictures, his blog is ianruhter.blogspot.com, some of his work is on there. It's pretty good.

On our way to the Last Laugh I saw this are with tagging all over it and I thought it would be kool to get some shots there.

Artwalk Thursday

Finally! 18+!

Buddy Desk

Great for College students doing their last minute homework right before class starts. I find myself sometimes getting to school a little earlier and it being too cold to get out of the car yet so I just use my steering wheel for desk support which gets very uncomfortable. I know I could probably avoid all of this by doing my homework on time but come on let's be realistic about it. This can be bought on Amazon for I believe $25.

Diamond Design

Entering this. Stay Tuned.

Personal Thought #5?

Today was a busy day for me, I didn't have to go in to work but I did anyway, I gotta make that extra mula, I spent $250 on books for school and I still have one more to buy that's going to cost me another $100. I went to my grandma's to listen to her lecture to me about not talking to my mom, then came to the apartment to prepare dinner, then went to pick up snoop from school (insider) then went to get a gym pass for 24 hr. I can't say that I will be going to the one on 120th though. I ended up taking a nap at hector's while watching ANTM re-runs... and it's very rare that I ever get the chance to take a nap. We came back to the apartment so I could cook dinner, which came out GREAT! I was supper impressed with myself, and thanks to saski! :) Cleaned the kitchen then went to buy the BP3. It's been a busy day I must say. I think I could get used to all this adult life stuff. I like the responsibility and effort I put into life everyday. I want to change my attitude and perspective on life little by little. I know that with my insecurities and my need to apologize for everything this will be a conflict but I'm ready to for this.
I'm not getting any younger int his life and I'm not going to go anywhere if I don't take myself there myself. I just felt the need to put this out somewhere to document the promise I am making to myself. No more BS, real life is starting right now.

Monopoly Online

This is superflously dope!

"Google is to team up with Monopoly to create an online version of Monopoly. It uses the Google Maps as a board so players can choose from millions of streets around the world to buy. The online version will be the same as the traditional board game but players will be able to build football stadiums and skyscrapers as well as the usual houses and hotels. Monopoly City Streets is a collaboration between Hasbro and Google, it also give players the change to build prisons and rubbish dumps on their rivals' streets. It will launch on September 9 so in couple of days you will see it."
