Downtown LA artwalk

Last night we (Hector, Tiffany, Patty and I) took a trip to 6th and Main in LA for the Art walk. The first place we stopped in had a lot going on, there were people selling clothes in the back an area to get a massage done for free, a little photo booth setup, a DJ, and painters painting. It was all very cool. One of the photographers assistant who has the photo booth asked us if we would be willing to take pictures and we agreed, of course, we're hoping they show up on his blog so we can get a chance to look at them I think they were pretty funny. Here are some pix, enjoy.

OH! I forgot to mention, when we left and started walking back to my car we met a guy and just happened to strike up a conversation with him, despite the fact that he thought we were 16 he was actually a really cool guy. He told us about his tatt's and about when he did time for 18 months and how it is in jail and how the system works and how everyone wants power and I remember this one phrase he said "The sun is the only motherfucker that shine's forever." I find that to be very true. He was very articulate for having a "cholo accent." I felt like we were listening to his memoirs. I wish I had gotten a picture of him. I do know where he works though.

Patty got body painted by some random painter because this guy who was trying to talk to her was trying to impress her with the "people" he knew. He then invited us all to a penthouse party later that night in the same building, we said we would go, but we didn't.

The photobooth photographer was picking out random people even on the street just to take their pictures, his blog is ianruhter.blogspot.com, some of his work is on there. It's pretty good.

On our way to the Last Laugh I saw this are with tagging all over it and I thought it would be kool to get some shots there.
