A little Update

My thanksgiving was alright i guess, just isn't the same as it used to be. But my BLACK FRIDAY was pretty good. Old Navy opened at midnight so i didn't have to wait in line 'til 5am. Got some clothes for some peoples on my xmas list aannndd for my bf.

This weekend was pretty chill. No partying for me. Tonight was super duper foggy!! TO THE EXTREME!!! No bueno driving home. But anywayz, I'm excited School's about to be over, but nervous about finals and such. I'm also trying to be really cheap for the next week. UGH! a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do though.

I'm a tad bit bored. I hate that i have to go to work tomorrow. But it's good for me. Get's me out of this house. I wish I could afford to live on my own. I really need to look into that. I'm so tired of this woman and her bullshit. She complains and complains and I just bite my tongue. I would say something but I have way too much reswpect for her. Just how I was raised. I miss my dad. I wish I could live with him but things are tough as usual.

So i watched the reunion show! well most of til my bf's dad wanted to change it and form what i saw! sheesh louise perosnaly i prefer the OC wives over these ones but i have to say they kept it interesting. Especially NENE & KIM! and what is up with KIM saying she did have cancer then sayign she didn't and she didn't want to talk about what she did have??!!!! UHM OKKAAYY! && BIG POPPA IS MARRIED big surprise there! Well now I can prepare myself for the new BAD GIRLS CLUB!!!!! and the new season of the OC WIVES!! WOOTWOOT!

Only working 3 days this week and have class only one day this week! YAY ME!

A couple days ago one of my mother's cousin who lived in Michigan passed away. She was suffering form Lou Gherig's Disease. Apparently it's a fatall disease which controls the nerves int he spinal cord and such. She was sick for baout 2 years already and as much as she tried to fight she couldn't hang on any longer. Please keep her family in your prayers. And anyone else is suffering from any other terminally ill disease or anything and just needs a prayer.

The fires

If you live in the southbay like I do and you watch the news then you would knwo about all the fires going on right now. It is so sad. Outside my house it is so hot andf the sky is like orange and you can see all the smoke and there is even ashes on top of the cars and you can smell the wood burning. It's the saddest thing ever knowing that so many people, so many families are losing their most valuable object to these fires. The memories, pictures, heirlooms, clothes, everything. It makes me so thankful for still having my life and my home but I am so afraid that these fires might come this way but we just hope for the best and keep all those families in anaheim hills, yorba linda, etc. in our prayers.

Thanks to Old Navys 50% off outerwear sale this week, I FINALLY got my PEA COAT! you have no idea how long i have been waiting for a pea coat. dropping hints like no tomorrow to my bf for over a year now. But I am done waiting, and I went and bought it for myself! hmph! First i went to the rosecrans one thinking they would have it but they had all these busted lookin ones! Then drove to Del Amo (mission in traffic) & it was the VERY LAST ONE! =) a large so my boobies will fit haha. I dont like that it attractes so much lint though. Apparently someone is going to die! BUT WHO?!? i know it's supposed to be Bart or Chuck or Vanessa. I have come to the conclusion that since in next week's episode Dan is doing an Expose on Bart Bass, Bart will more then likely fake his own death! but then again i could be wrong! I think Chuck Bass is Gossip Girl and i have my reasons so he couldn't possibly dye and besides we love his accent! I don't think it's Vanessa either even though she has been betrayed by everyone around her. Guess we are gonna have to watch and see!

Yesterday I watched "WHEN HARRY MET SALLY" on my netflix membership. I didn't think I would like it but actually i have to admit it has now become one of my all-time favorite movies. I usually find Billy Crystal annoying but he wasn't all that bad. Meg Ryan looked super 80's tho, She looked very cute! I think they had a very charming unconvenient relationship in the movie. Both had good points from the the female and male perspective. The scene above is probably my favorite scene! it had me laughing so hard in my office I had to put my hand against my mouth so my co-workers wouldn't get jealous of my "hard labor"! =)

I work in a Doctor's office in Wilmington. Just the other day a 12 year old girl came in for a pregnancy test! 12 YEARS OLD!!! She admitted to having sex and was worried because she had missed her period. Fortunately for her, as soon as she went to the bathroom to collect a urine sample for the test she got her period. But this girl is 12 years old and already having sex! I would like to know where in the hell does she do it and how does she have the chance to have sex! Shouldn't she be at home after school! I know when I was 12 i was still playing with Barbies probably, but these girls have probably been playing with Ken way too long.

About a week ago my dad bought this god-forsaken phone online but he had originally bought it for my sister for her birthday, but I convinced him not too so he kept it for himself and bought her the rockr. Then, my boyfriend took a look at it and went and bought it right away, so for $230 you have the whole internet in the palm of your hand. It's really not that bad, it's pretty cool i'm not gonna lie. BUT it makes the owner feel all high & mighty. I think it's too bulky though. And the hwole menu thing is kind of confusing. BUT you can see like an actual street view!!! which is really cool i have to admit! And I haven't had the chance to see all the applications but the ones I have seen are pretty damn cool! I'm not sure if I want it though. I still have my eye on the Blackberry Bold & Storm. haha but at the moment i have the shittiest phone ever made.

Election Day

Today we see history in the making. These are the days our children will be learning about in school. These are the days they will interview us about for an assignment in class. This is the day we will remember for a long itme. Today is election day. I have to admit that at the beginning of this election I was a tad bit biased and didn't really care about what Senator McCain had to say about anything. But I have listened to him and still do not like him very much. But that's not the point of this. The point is that if you have the right to go and vote and be a part of histiry then GO AND DO IT!!! don't talk about it and complain about if you refuse to be about it.

DayLight Savings

sorry haven't put anything up in a while, weekend was alright but i won't say much about it cuz i don't want too. I really hate this whole daylight savings crap!
the days are shorter and the nights are longer it seems like. i never know when to go to sleep.i have to drive home from work in the super darkness! no bueno! and its too cold! yuck!
