Emily Griffin

A good friend of mine suggested I read a book call 'love the one you're with' and I did and I was infatuated with it. The book had everything you look for in a reality tv show. I was completely caught up in it, until I finished it. She then gave me a second book by Emily Griffin called 'Something Borrowed' and I did and I recently just finished it. It was full of scandal, about best friends, relationships, betrayal, love, and following your heart. Thank goodness Griffin wrote a second book to go along after it titled 'Something Blue' which I have just boughten and already in love with, only this novel is written from the point of view of the other best friend who is betrayed in the first one. I think everyone could find some way to relate to at least one of the characters in either of these novels. She has another one titled 'Baby Proof' and I think I'll hold off a little while before reading it but I HIGHLY recommend to anyone, male or female, in a relationship or in a situation and have felt love before at any time in their life to read these novels. Emily Griffin has a real talent in literature, at least in my opinion and she is definitely worth the $12 for a read and a spot of your bookshelf. Trust me, you won't regret it! :)

Weekend in Pictures

Ever since I got this new blackberry I been going crazy with the camera because it is so much more better than my G1 was. I decided that I would capture as best I could pictures from my memorial 3 day weekend off of my phone, only because my D40 is just too big to haul around everywhere. So hope you enjoy what I got!
We had a lil kickback on friday, grabbed some patti and poolside on saturday, sunday I spent time at the park with my fambam, those crazy arabs and then we all met up at the apt. Again to chill and drink. Summer has officially started for us and I hope it's ready for us.

Oh and as for today I'm just waitin on the bf to get off work and try to convince him to take me to Camarillo. :)

I can say confidently that I am pretty content with how things are going right now in life. Summer is already here and getting some more hours at work or at least taking as much as I can get. New car, new phone (no big deal I know) and soon a new place to live as well. It's not that I'm complaining, I feel so blessed of course but for some reason I just feel weird. I feel like I need to be prepared for something drastic that's about to happen. Counting my blessings.

But anyways I felt like this picture I took kinda resembled how I was feeling for some reason.
